Obtaining a fuel storage license is essential to ensure smooth operations, maintain safety, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Type 1 – Small Fuel Retail Establishments
- Highly flammable fuel: ≤ 40 liters
- Moderately flammable fuel: ≤ 227 liters
- Low flammability fuel: ≤ 454 liters
Type 2 – Small Industrial or Agricultural Facilities
- Highly flammable fuel: > 40 liters and ≤ 454 liters
- Moderately flammable fuel: > 227 liters and ≤ 1,000 liters
- Low flammability fuel: > 454 liters and ≤ 15,000 liters
Type 3 – Large Industrial Facilities
- Highly flammable fuel: > 454 liters
- Moderately flammable fuel: > 1,000 liters
- Low flammability fuel: > 15,000 liters and ≤ 500,000 liters
